Since 1984 Palazzo Cini has opened the art collection once owned by Vittorio Cini, one of the protagonists of twentieth-century Venice, to the public. Displayed on the two piani nobili, the collection includes some thirty paintings of the Tuscan school, including a Madonna and Child with two angels by Pietro di Cosimo and Pontormo's Double portrait of two friends.

The Basilica of the Madonna della Salute was built in 1630 following a terrible wave of plague. Architect Baldassarre Longhena's design foresaw a basilica with a central plan, a reference to the Virgin's crown and to the Rosary, considered powerful symbols against the plague.

Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova

Located in one of the Magazzini del Sale, the Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova aims to promote the art and work of the Venetian master through the hosting of cultural initiatives. Winner of the prestigious Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement in 1997, Emilio Vedova was a painter, engraver and partisan.

Pinacoteca Manfrediniana

The Pinacoteca Manfrediniana, part of the Diocesan Museum of the Patriarchate of Venice since 2019, displays the bequest of the Venetian collector Federico Manfredini. The gallery houses 65 paintings on canvas, panel and copper, including works from the Central Italian and Northern European schools of painting.

Built as a sign of Venetians' devotion to Christ for having freed the city from the plague, the Basilica del Redentore is a building with a harmonious and balanced structure, dominated by the dome with its lantern, on which the statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. Inside you can admire works by Tintoretto, Veronese, Palma il Giovane, Bassano and Vivarini.
